A new-build detached dwelling set to replace an existing outdated dwelling within a sensitive rural location.
When first asked to take on this project, our Client was not fully aware of their requirements. After taking time to sit down with them and getting to know their lifestyle and family dynamics, we were able to arrive at a brief: to deliver a sustainable retirement home with ample space to accommodate regular visits from their large extended family.
Spread over three floors, the ground floor of this 5 bedroom dwelling offers the client light and spacious Kitchen and Family Room entertaining space that opens out onto the property’s grounds through large bi-folding doors. Located away from the main entertaining space a traditional snug like Lounge can be found which offers the client a relaxing space to retreat around their wood burning stove.
Bedroom accommodation is spread across the first and second floor of this property. The Master Bedroom which is located on the first floor benefits from large double height space with exposed oak roof structure, large oak glazed gable with double doors that lead out onto a balcony with views out over the properties grounds and open countryside beyond, large wet-room ensuite, dressing room and walk-in wardrobe.
