Langport Road- Sunderland

Extensive adaptation of an existing detached dwelling completed for a family with a disabled child.  The project was part of a wider legal framework and required specialist architectural services.

Complete transformation of a once dated property to offer a state of the art adapted dwelling, designed specifically to suit individual needs.

Design development sought to encourage a more open plan arrangment, strengthening links to the outside with large bi-fold doors opening out onto external patios.  This improved accessibility while adding to the enjoyment of the property as a whole.

Detailed co-ordination and development of the scheme with appointed legal and care professionals in conjunction with the family, was intrinsic in developing a scheme which fulfilled all requirements.  A full range of specialist equipment was incorporated into the design including automated wheelchair tracking and automatic doors to assist the family with their day to day living.

PH Partnership also offered a co-ordinated landscaping scheme and interior design tailored to fulfill client requiremnents.
