The Bill Bryson Library at Durham University is an award-winning building on the University’s Mountjoy site, housing the modern collections in all subjects except Education. It is also the administrative centre and main library. A major extension to the building was completed in 2012 with the addition of a new East Wing.
PH Partnership designed and project managed the refurbishment of the main block. The design included the provision of new studying facilities as well as upgraded finishes and lighting. The entrance into the library was also upgraded as part of the £3.5 M project.
