Complex adaptation of a large detached dwelling for a family with a disabled child. The development was part of a wider legal case.
The property was extended and fully refurbished to offer a home environment which was tailored specifically to the family’s needs.
The project successfully transformed the property into a modern, state of the art home while seamlessly incorporating the care elements and specialist features required.
The adaptation included various extensions and extensive internal alterations, including a full Hydrotherapy Pool installation with separate plant room. Large extensions were added to both the front and the rear to completely transform the property and reconfigure the internal layout.
Facilities included full hoist provision throughout the necessary areas with throughfloor lift in addition to the Hydrotherapy pool and other specialist equipment.
Extensive external alterations were completely sympathetically to offer a fully accessible environment around the property for general access, circulation and social spaces in the garden, for all the family to enjoy.
The project included full co-ordination of the works and intergration of interior design scheme.
PH Partnership were also involved in the selection and development of the fixed furniture throughout.
